Our Mission Statement:
The purpose
of Inland Valley Youth Symphony is to enrich the lives of student musicians with outstanding educational and performance opportunities
for all levels, in a nurturing and challenging environment without discrimination. Working together with parents, private
and school music instructors, IVYS will provide the finest possible training with rehearsal and performance opportunities
to enable the students to develop, share and further enrich their lives through the power of music.
IVYS believes that music is proven to enhance student performance in all academic areas.
The Inland Valley Youth Symphony groups are a tuition
based program.
Performing
seasons run August - July.
- Inland
Valley Youth Symphony: $350.00 per season.
- Attacca: $300.00 per
season.
- Inland Valley Youth Wind Symphony: $300.00 per season.
- Prelude: $25.00 per month (8 months for a season).
Tuition includes the following:
- Concentrated study of orchestral repertoire.
- Direction
by a professional conductor.
- Solo and chamber opportunities.
